Supporting Motion Four Justice on their road to the start line

Every big run begins long before race day. It starts with the training miles, the early starts, the sore legs, and the reason behind it all.

Four runners, Griff, Chels, Nate and Flin, are attempting something that hasn’t been done before: together they are taking on a run that will set a world record. The challenge will see them cover 6,000km across Australia, running from the very top of the country at Cape York to the very bottom at Wilson’s Prom. To get there, they’ll be running 75km a day for 80 days straight.

The scale of the run is huge, but the impact they are working towards goes far beyond the finish line. Through their campaign, Motion Four Justice are aiming to raise $1,000,000 for Destiny Rescue, which could help save 476 lives.

Destiny Rescue works to rescue children from human trafficking and sexual exploitation, then supporting them with the care they need to stay free. Their work reaches children who are facing extreme harm, with rescue and reintegration programmes designed to help survivors rebuild their lives.

It is a cause that deserves attention, and Hedgy is proud to be supporting Motion Four Justice as they take on this incredible challenge.

As part of our support, we have made a donation to the campaign and sent the team a bundle of Hedgy socks to wear during training and on the run itself. The miles are theirs to run, but we hope our socks bring a bit of comfort, colour and Hedgy spirit along the way.

Charity has always been a part of what Hedgy stands for. Supporting Motion Four Justice was a no-brainer: people coming together, pushing themselves, and using that effort to change lives.
